Valerie Johnson is the owner and Broker in Charge of Johnson Realty in Wallace, N.C. Having over 17 years experience, the Johnson family have owned and operated real estate firms in Duplin County for over 40 years. With both parents leading the way in the real estate business, Valerie grew up in Wallace. She graduated from East Carolina University in 1994, and went on to teach at the college level. After working in the justice system and mental health sectors for 10 years, Valerie returned to take over the family brokerage in 2004. Valerie holds several real estate certifications & designations including the Military Relocation Professional (MRP) designation, Resort & Second Home Property Specialist (RSPS) designation, and REO-Foreclosure Specialist Certification. Valerie is an active member in her community having served as a prior board member on the Duplin-Sampson Board of Realtors and she presently serves on the Wallace Chamber of Commerce Board. Valerie is a member of the National Associaton of Realtors, Duplin County Pet Friends, and Wallace Friends of the Library. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, flipping homes, and interior design.
