Located in Afton, OK, in the heart of Craig County Oklahoma, sits a fully contiguous 1510 acre active cattle ranch! The ranch is only 20 minutes from Grand Lake which is one of the prettiest and cleanest recreational lakes Oklahoma has to offer providing year round recreational fishing and the best summer boating recreation you can find. Contiguous cattle ranches of this size are hard and rare to find. The ranch is 90% all improved and maintained grass pastures with native and Bermuda grasses. The entire ranch is easily accessed from several miles of county maintained gravel roads and there are numerous gates that allow you to freely travel from one paddock to the other. There are numerous cross fenced pastures with ample water supply in each that allow you to rotational graze your cattle or keep cattle off of hay pastures. For water the ranch has two large creeks with Little Cabin Creek on the North end and Coal Creek on the South end. Depending on your cattle operation the carrying capacity of the ranch is approximately 500-750+ animal units. The current operation is about 400 cow/calf pairs of Corriente's and the ranch still produces a couple hundred round bales of hay each year.
